The volleyball team "Smec 5" has started working on October 1 2008. In a short period of time it has assembled around 150 attendees.

The club is designed in a way that it provides high quality and professional work with children of x to y years old and enables adequate competition with the ambition that hard work incorporates.
That will be the base out which the club will school many talented young players for the league's senior competition.
The initial circumstances have led to VC "Smec 5" competing in the senior regional league in the 1st year of its existence, in collaboration with the volleyball team "Profil".
Under different management and work method, significant progress is evident in terms of the girls' improvement, and their competing in some of the higher rank competitions during the following season is to be expected.
All of the selections are currently training in the elementary schools' gyms, but the club is working on a solution of obtaining its own premises where all the selections could work on an even higher level, and there is also an effort to improve all the conditions necessary for the club to operate professionally.
Presently, four trainers are working in the club.
